I love celery and eat bags of celery hearts or stalks a week. Love it with peanut butter, pimento cheese or by itself. Funny thing though, when I was a kid I wouldn't touch it. I even eat a couple jars of Korean KimChee each week. My wife doesn't like celery in anything but Thanksgiving turkey dressing and she certainly would never eat Hot KimChee. She even prefers I eat it outside. One note: KimChee is very good for birth control. Have you ever smelled it? I must be one of the odd ones.
